Wolborg Posted April 22, 2019 Posted April 22, 2019 I have several mods installed that add quests that begin immediately when I start a new game. I would like to delay them, because it's annoying when I start a game and bang, bang, bang, announcements of new quests jump up on the screen. I am not going to do any of those "visit this" and "investigate that" freshly out of Helgen, and I don't want to be pestered with quest-begin-messages when I haven't even been to the chopping block yet. The mod "Timing Is Everything" allows you to set the level at which a number of selected quests begin. I wonder if there is a way to do that for any quest. Like, when a mod defines a quest, is there a variable I can set or alter with TES5Edit that instructs the game not to start the quest until the player has reached a certain level? Durak isn't sent to you until level 10. Obviously, this must be set somehow in Dawnguard.esm. I tried to find it with TES5Edit, but it's too complicated for me. So, my question is: When a mod defines a quest that is to start as soon as the player starts a new game, is there a way for the player to edit something with TES5Edit so that the quest will start later – say, after reaching a certain level?
