Roo2 Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 I'm using the UNP Pinup TBBP body and I'd like to use Equipable Underwear for Everyone, a great mod that reliably distributes underwear to NPCs so that you can use custom bodies on NPCs and loot their gear without having every gaming session turn NSFW. The main download comes with meshes for the vanilla body and seems to lack bodyslide support and they clip badly with UNP, especially with CBP physics enabled. To get around this, I extracted the underwear meshes from the UNP Pinup Clothed TBBP femalebody_0/1 nifs and used them to overwrite the meshes that come with EUfE. This works great besides one problem: the nipples from the body mesh stick out through the bra. This seems like it could be simply fixed by dragging a few of the bra vertices near the top of the arches forward just a bit. Â I'm wondering what the most straightforward way to do this would be. I figure (very naively) that I have 3 options: Â 1: Try to edit the mesh directly in NifSkope (I've never used NifSkope before besides to set the partition body part flag as instructed on the EUfE article for making new meshes work). 2: Export the mesh to Blender and edit it there (I have done meshing in Blender before but I'm not familiar with the Nif -> Blender -> Nif conversion process). 3: Try to use BodySlide on the UNP body, make the top slightly bigger, and then repeat the mesh extraction process that I already did with the new bigger mesh (is there a bodyslide-enabled UNP clothed body somewhere)? Â I'm very new to this whole game in general - for people who have used/made body and clothing mods before, which approach would be the easiest to learn and do what I'm trying to do while preserving physics compatibility for the mesh? Â Â As an unrelated aside, are there any good clothing replacers for UNP? I've tried UNP Body Fit Armors and Clothing but what I don't like about it is that the clothing is too skin-tight, so it looks more like body paint than clothing (i.e. there's no fabric in the cleavage area). Are there any clothing mods that keep the UNP proportions but actually look like clothes?
ymf331 Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 i'm not an expert, but i think you can just edit the underwears in outfit studio with unp as reference and copy the weighting from the body
mad.scientist Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 As a simple user of mods I also just use Outfit Studio for all my nif-mesh editing needs. Not just clothes as ymf331 described, but also other things.... You can just import ANY nif, do some basic editing (grow shrink, drag, remove nodes) and then re-export as nif.
