lax4ever Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Greetings all, and thanks ahead of time for any suggestions/help. I am running in to an issue where I get a CTD when I enter certain large cities. I first encountered this where I could not enter Riften, or even take the wagon man to just outside the city. Not being able to pinpoint a specific mod, I deleted all mods and saves, reinstalled a limited set of mods, and then tried again. In this instance, the problem was even more pronounced, again on cities that included Whiterun and Solitude. At this point, I started over completely. I uninstalled Skyrim SE, all my mods, deleted preferences and leftover files and started from scratch. I now have the following mods installed, in this load order, and I am still having an issue where I cannot enter either Winterhold or Riften, whether or not I use the front gate or by loading in using the CoC console command. I am running a fairly beefed up laptop Intel i7-8750 16 GB DDR4 GTX 1060 6GB Current version of Skyrim SE is 1.5.73 Current version of SKSE is 2.0.15 Using the latest available version of Vortex and its built in version of LOOT Skyrim Performance Manager is not showing a VRAM issue which is why I leaning towards it being a mesh issue. So I don't think it is a hardware issue, and I am not aware of any of these mods that I have current installed that effect meshes in both these areas, so I am a little confused. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
lax4ever Posted April 10, 2019 Author Posted April 10, 2019 As an added note, the Whiterun meshes have gotten grainy like what you would see on an initial load before the game loads the higher quality stuff. This happened on a previous save, which only serves to give me more confidence in my mesh issues, but I have no idea what is causing it, cause none of my mods, that I am aware of, affect city meshes.
