F4SE is my kryptonite...

Hey all.  I'm having a hell of a time installing the latest F4SE incarnation.  It changed from the last time I modded the game, and now wants all this (f4se_1_10_120.dll, f4se_loader.exe, and f4se_steam_loader.dll) to be put in the game folder.  I know, it should be easy, but I can't find the exe file or the dll file when I unzip it.  It could be that I just don't see it, which happens a lot these days thanks to my brain not working right anymore.  So, if someone would please post a summary of how to install this cursed thing again, I would be very thankful.  I spent six hours looking for how to do this myself, but I can't find anything that explains things well enough for me to follow it.  I'm not terribly experienced at this and my memory has all the retention power of a colander, so I can't recall what I did the first time around to get things working right.

Grab F4SE from here-http://f4se.silverlock.org/

Theres probably many ways to do it but heres how I like to do it.

 

Open Zip file- there will be 2 folders(Data-Src) and 6 loose files.

Copy the 6 loose files and drop them in your Fallout 4 folder. Not the data folder but the 1 with the Fallout4 exe. Overwrite if asked

Right click the Data folder and send it  to a archive (turn it into a zip file) Rename the file anything you want- I usually just rename it to FO4Scripts

Open and install your new zip file with whatever mod manager you use. Done!

 

You don't need the src folder. You can keep or get rid of it.
