"This version requires AAF, Devious Devices and Roggvir's DD Items Manager, as well as MCM."

What is "AAF"?

What is "MCM"?

I find no answers, only Acronyms.

Hey go to technical support and into the thread animations misaligned. There is a very easy guide with links I made for complete newbies. It will help you big time.

Also you need to add a couple lines to your Fallout4Custom .ini. and Fallout4Preference .ini folders before you begin. There is guide for this on this site.

Good luck

Alright, here's my first problem!

I go into the ingame mod manager, and for "Family Planning" all it ever says is "Missing plugins: 1 Four_play.esp"

I installed Four Play with my mod manager, I placed Four_Play.esp in the data folder like it said to for manual installation, I even placed the folder  with the Four_Play.esp in the data folder.

Here's a screenshot with a text dump it displays for a quarter of a second on loading the saved game.

How could I have installed it incorrectly, I used mod manager...

This right here is exactly why I mentioned to you in my previous post where to go to get help with having it work properly for you. I see you didn't because if you did you wouldn't have your game saying your missing Fourplay. Lol. Not your fault. I see you just started if you want to get rid of everything and go to where I mentioned and have trouble, I'll be glad to help but otherwise I cant do anything for you because I don't use Fourplay and don't keep it with it anymore. Somebody who still uses it will have to help you there. Sorry

I also suggest to refrain from adding any mods until you get out of the vault and are able to use the workshop and travel to Concord. its a much better starting point if something happens where you don't have to go through all the beginning shit over and over,

Good luck once again

Some of the mods I have claim they require Four play.  Others claim they require AAF.

But they don't work together...  So I can't have the two mods I want at the same time?

Also I didn't see you had posted until it was too late, now I feel foolish!

Yeah I hear ya. The guides that are out are outdated right now. You want to pick either AAF or Fourplay. Most people use AAf as Fourplay is older and not really being supported anymore. Anything you want to do in Fourplay can be done in AAF and then some so you don't need to have both. There was a time when AAF was newer and fourplay was the established one so when mods were being adjusted to work with AAF there was patches that would allow you to use both programs. I'm not sure how much this is even being supported anymore if any. Whatever you seen in a fourplay mod that you wanted will be available for AAF you just might not of come across it yet.  I'm not claiming my guide is better or anything I'm just saying that for somebody that is new to these mods are gonna have a way easier time with my guide than any other one I've seen so far. When I started for the first time, I had to get a little info from 5-6 different guides to get it to work. Not because theyre wrong but because theyre outdated. I only did mine a few weeks ago and I don't think much has changed so it should still be accurate for you.

If you do plan on taking a look there give it a quick once over before you start. The AAF SEU link that is posted first at the bottom is the wrong one. A little more down is the one you want for AAF. There is also 4 more mods that go along with AAF nicely mentioned there that if you are gonna use them you should install those before AAF also.

all right, after a fresh install, I went to your thread and followed all the instructions.  Everything is working great!  I get the settlers to concord, then save. [then went to work]  Now, whenever I load that saved game, I get this error message when I start the game.

The hell does that mean?

I reinstalled SEU and MCM but it still gives me this message.

Sorry when you don't quote the person youre talking about it doesn't give them the heads up that youre asking another question or responding so I didn't know you posted this till now.  That's a good question. I've never seen that before. On one hand it says to reinstall MCM but on the other if I'm determining it right says if you go into the MCM and redo all the settings you want for SEU it will work then, so I'm not sure what its really asking for. Maybe try that. If you can access the MCM menu go into SEU and reconfigure everything and reset your hotkeys and see if that helps or does anything. You mentioned you did get it going though so does that mean you've been able to trigger any animations, cause I notice that besides the message on your screen I don't see any other AAF errors on screen. If you are still checking this thread and comment again make sure to hit the quote button so I know you have asked another question.

Maybe by some chance you didn't get the latest version of MCM. Don't know just trying to figure out what the hell that means. Lol
