jubileejones Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 Okay, so first of all I should clarify I know absolutely NOTHING about programming, never made a single mod for any game, nada, but I'm hoping this will change. I want to start working on a mod right now, a big one, and hopefully I'll be able to make it as a module for WW (kinda like Nisa's). My focus would be more on the way relationships develop over time, and relationship dynamics in general. Y'know, realistic development of crushes and kinks, maybe look into one-sided relationships which could develop into stalking and even darker territories. I'm completely aware that this would be some heavy shit and some aspects might not even be possible, but I wanna try. I have a looot of free time right now due to health issues and I figured why not try and spend it learning how to make this mod a possibility? Here's the thing: I need someone to point me into the absolutely necessary stuff. Like I said, I know nothing. What do I need to start modding the Sims 4? I've gathered I'll need to learn Python, but where do I go from there? Is there anything else programming wise that I need to know? Also, animating. I'll probably need some custom animations if I wanna add new interactions, so learning the basics about that would be cool. Is there any good tutorials about animating for the Sims 4? Or creating Custom Content? I'm sorry, I do realise I sound like a five year old expecting everyone to hold my hand and guide me through what's supposed to be a one man journey, but hey, we've all been there... maybe, so if anyone could give me some info or advice then please, I'm all ears.
