HELP

I have downloaded wickedwhims and various other mods. Some for animation and the ONLY thing that works is insanely ridiculous skin tones and one odd shaped penis. Absolutely zero animations other than the blurred out basic game. Obviously, I got the mods extracted right because things changed, but why don't the animations etc work??? No one explains this in detail. Only how to add them. Well, they're added, they show up under game options>other, but nothing has changed during game play. I want the animations like everyone else but simply cannot get them to work and I have no idea what else to do. HELP. And please, break it down and describe it very specifically because the dozen or so others that I've followed have led me here! Plz and thank you!

First and most important question; Do you have any other script mods installed? (Mods that have an effect on the game code, not content assets like clothes)

 

If the the answer is yes, this is what I’d do it can tedious but it’s one of the only sure ways of knowing what’s wrong.

 

copy the contents of your Mod folder into an new folder, I keep mine in “my documents”. Then, empty the orignal folder of Script

mods. When we test, we want a clean slate.

 

Next, put in Whicked Whims and just one animation pack

 

Then, load the game and start a new save file. Now test out your animations.

 

did it work? Yes? Good. Now, one at a time, put a script mod back into the main mod folder. You need to load the game after each to ensure which mod is the trouble maker. You can continue using your test save file, no need to make a new one each time

 

did you find the problem mod? Good. Head back to where you downloaded it from and check for an update patch and/or a replacement version.

 

if you didn’t find a problem but It works anyway... computers can get like that. Mine decides when it wants to work based on which way the wind is blowing that day...

 

If you put Whims in and it didn’t work or you don’t have any script mods...

 

check the game version against the file version. One might need an update.
