Cosmic gender ray only affects everyday outfit?

I have been using the Cosmic Gender Ray mod (http://modthesims.info/d/603109/cosmic-gender-ray.html#actualtab1) to get the game to spawn sims with non-default gender options.

 

I have been using it, so that it spawns all male sims as having feminine frames and clothing preferences. I have noticed that it works, but it only works for newly generated sim's everyday outfits. Anyone else having this issue?
