Using RaceMenu breaks HDT on CBBE

Custom BodySlide and HDT work great until I use showracemenu. When I hit done, it seems like some of the bones on the skeleton have changed because the physics are out of sync or get stuck. They stay stuck if I save and restart, even if I redeploy my mods or rebuild with BodySlide.

In Vortex:

CBBE Curvy

BodySlide (build CBBE Body HDT, overwrite CBBE)

HDT

XPMSE

RaceMenu

I've tried building with and without the .tri morphs in BodySlide. No difference.

Does this also happen to other bodies or just the custom CBBE? Have you tried using it on other characters with different mods/in different cells?

In my game I have this type of troubles when something is scaling the node of the body/skeleton, making the HDT stutter about (like when I wrongly set the scaling in inflation framework), or the physics are colliding against one another, even if they are not visibly touching each other (it is also, sometimes, caused by the fps count, which causes HDT to spasm if over 60 fps, I think there is a mod that fixes that though).

SOLVED!

...but not by Temporary500. =[

It was KS Hairdos HDT. Loading those in the RaceMenu was what was breaking it, even with Precache Killer. I discovered it was a known issue and there's a separate mod on the KS page to fix it.

Sorry I didn't test that before posting. I also didn't know it would break over 60fps so I've grabbed the mod fix for that too just in case.

So happy that's over.

Glad to hear you solved it! And thanks for sharing the solution! (Also, I wasn't expecting to solve your issue, just trying to jog something to happen ^^" Too many people are left with topics with no answer, and it pains me to know they might be left with broken or non-functioning things that could, perhaps, have been easily solved had anyone taken notice).
