Arcane Wanderer Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 As others have noted, a lot of stuff including DD works in Enderal. However, there's no NPC dialog options related to DD items. On a similar note, blacksmiths won't offer any special services for DD items. I think that there's still no blacksmith stuff in DDI 4.x and that it's still all in various mods? Re blacksmiths, I'm looking at DDH Devious Device Helpers. I took a look with SSEedit (recent beta 4.0.1m provides a --enderal command line option for the new steam Enderal version). The DDH mod contains dialog info for blacksmiths. I don't know how dialogs work, but I'm wondering if the issue is that Enderal is using factions a bit oddly' there doesn't seem to be a generic blacksmith faction, but instead has things like this-city-blacksmith faction and that-city-blacksmith faction. However, DDH doesn't seem to reference factions anyway. Can anyone give me clues on where to look if I want to try to develop a fix for generic DD NPC dialog options?
