I know, I can found a lot of toturial in the internet but the most of it are not easy to understand for me. My English is also not the best but I want to learn how to creat a mesh in Blender for the Sims4. And I see how manny talents are here and make such a good projects! thats why I asking you for help. I want to have my favo Character from the Game "The Evil Within" in my game. Sebastian Castellanos. And I was trying soooo hard to make his outfit by my own. But in the end I could not only recolor some clothes because something was still missing. Now I have to make the Mesh for it. I have choose one outfit from the "work pack" the police detectiv outfit and I try to add from another Mesh the vest on it and the tie under the vest. When I delate the tie from the mesh in belder, a hole comes up. I can see through the Sim. I was thinking: I will put the tie away and BÄM only the shirt will stay under it but NOPE. After that I was trying to fit that with the other mesh and it end op in a mesh desaster. Please someone help me. I would also pay for a Commission when someone says: hey I do that for you, it is not a big deal. But to be honest, I want to lean it too and would like to make it by my own and say: hey! I did it! OMG I have my fav Character in my game. I will show you some pictures, maybe that will help you to understand my problem. By the way, I never do a mesh or working with blender befor.
Goat Designs Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 I'm not 100% sure that this is the best way to fix it, since I have never made clothing meshes before, but If the vest is on the same mesh as the tie and shirt: Separate the vest from the shirt in the desired shape so it's its own object, and then reshape/re-uvmap it to look like the first image. Once you're done, join the meshes back together by selecting both objects in edit mode with shift and left mouse button and then crtl+J to combine them.
sstormyy Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 Actually there are a lot of ways how you can tackle this problem : 1) in edit mode you can select the tie vertices and just move them behind the vest or 2) you can just delete the unnecessary tie verteces so that you would be left only with the upper part of the tie

Maybe you could show me how you would do it ?

(the first mesh) because of the shirt collar. like on that pic. The tie and shirtcollar looking more relax and not so tie up.
