Hello. I want to become a modder. From a long time, i've been trying to enhance my gameplay experience by adding mods created by others. Now I want to create my own modifications. Personally, i'm interested in character appearance improvement. I'm trying to learn Meshing, Blender and Milkshape but it feels very time consuming. As It's bad for eyesight to sit before PC for way too long therefore i'm trying to learn more efficiently. A step-by-step approach would be best. From where should i start ?

*A sequential tutorial on meshing for first time modders is greatly appreciated (^ ^)

If you're still looking for step by step tutorials for modeling - here's the "rite of passage" that most people have done at least once while learning to model :

https://3dtotal.com/tutorials/box-sets/joan-of-arc

There's a bunch of "old school" techniques in there but it goes step by step and will teach all of the fundamentals.  I think it's also done in an old version of 3dsmax but all of the tools and workflows should apply in any modeling package.  Also the rest of the 3dtotal tutorials section will probably be helpful, there's even a blender dedicated section https://3dtotal.com/tutorials/blender

The downside is most of the newer tutorials skip a lot of steps and jump right into a sculpting package.

After that stuff polycount and the polycount wiki are great but will take some digging on your part to find the specific info that you want

Hope that helps, it's a long road to learning 3d modeling but it's worth it once you see your creations running around in game.
