Abigail Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Hi the problem is that even when I deleted these 2 mods, their "effect" is still present, how can I remove those mods and their respective "effect"? http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/765569-serana-dialogue-fix/ and http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4600 HELP! PLEASE!:(
PhilMc2 Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 1. Make sure all files from those two mods are deleted (if neccessary extract the downloaded files again and check if those files are deleted in your folder structure) 2. Uncheck all esp- and esm-files but not Skyrim.esm with Mod Manager or Skyrim Launcher 3. Load your character (best if in interiors)...and make a NEW save (do not overwrite the old save!!!!) 4. Exit Skyrim...enable all esp- and esm-files again and load your new save. That`s called a clean save and this should make the effects vanish.

I'll post results.
Abigail Posted December 2, 2012 Author Posted December 2, 2012 Didn't work I disabled all the mods, but it broke the camera.
Abigail Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 comes that mod with scripts? Thanks for your reply. No It's just the .esp file.
PhilMc2 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Can you explain in detail what persistent "effect" you mean? And could you please post your load order?...a list of all mods you have installed including mods that don`t come with esp or esm files like SkyUI or various camera mods. You say the camera is broken? Have you drawn a weapon after loading your save? When the camera was changed before it only resets properly after going into combat mode.

Hi The problem is just one mod now' date=' I managed to remove "Blade of Woe Improved" effect. But I can´t figure out how to remove "Serana dialogue fix" effect, even when I have uninstalled the mod the effect is still there, originally the mod removes one of her lines "Yes? what did you need" but I also broke many NPCs lines, that's why I wanted to remove this mod, but I didn't work, after I removed it the affect is still there. About the camera bug, I deactivated Dawnguard and the mods that depends on it, I did a "clean" save, everything was OK, but when I reactivated again all the mods the camera was broken, how? Well, every time I enter in first person view and I move a little the camera resets to a very close third person view, unfortunately drawing a weapon didn't work Thanks for your time About my load order, well actually it's a (almost) vanilla install I only have the 3 "unofficial patch" mods. I had more but now I only have those.
PhilMc2 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Sorry, I could not access Loverslab yesterday... Just to be sure...dialogue related things often only show up after loading the save again. I mean...remove Serana mod -> load old save -> make new save -> quit the game -> load the new save...then the bad effect is still there, yes? If yes...that`s bad If a clean save does not remove the "Serana dialogue fix" then the data from that mod is stored inside the savefile from your character...and if that`s the case you can do nothing but use a save where the mod wasn`t installed before or make a new character...I know...sux -.- For this camera problem...what happens if you load the game without the unofficial patches? So only the Skyrim.esm, update.esm, dawnguard.esm and hearthfires.esm (if you have it)? From what you say it is a simple mod conflict...and the "main" files do not confict in point of camera settings as far as I know o.0 By the way be careful with those unofficial patches...they fix a lot but they can easily create new conflicts because not all mod authors have those patches in mind when creating there mods.
