Traits with auras?

I'm not sure if this has been attempted, but I haven't been able to find any discussions about this anywhere.

 

So I guess a Sims 2 style attraction system isn't going to be modded any time soon, but what if there's a workaround with traits? We already have traits like snob that gives your snob sims moodlets for socializing with other snobs or specific moodlets when sims are in proximity to someone else. It's basically an aura moodlet. What if someone made a trait like, for example, "Irresistible", and every time that sim entered a room sims would react and get a small flirty moodlet with some flavor text about how hot the sim is.

 

This would spice things up, especially if you make sims that are supposed to be temptations tramp around town. You could create an attraction for anything, which opens the doors for appearance and age preferences, fetishes, you name it. This could pair well with WickedWhims and make the sex system even deeper with moodlets about how attracted they are going into sex. I just want to see proof of real attraction between sims and know that my sims are still normal and get attracted to other sims even if they've never met.

 

I can't imagine it would be too difficult to implement since the framework for "aura traits" already exists. So modders, is something like this possible?

I'm not certain exactly how it works, but Nisa's Wicked Perversions includes a trait called Pheromonal Flower that I believe does exactly what you're talking about.

That's a nice find, but it wasn't exactly what I had hoped for. I was hoping for something that's just traits only designed to create aura moodlets, so it doesn't even need to be complicated. I guess I'll learn how to create these since they can obviously be done. I just hope that someone who is a much more talented modder sees value in this and gets inspired. ?

I think that particular trait does give a flirty aura to other sims, but I don't fully know how it works. The creator could probably give you better details.
