Canadian exclusive mini-Wii will hit the shelves in time for Christmas.

 

Anyone else see the following scenario?

 

Grandma: "Hmmm, Billy said he wants the new Wii...oh, here it is! And at such a low price, too! He's going to be so happy when he opens this up on Christmas morning!"

Why do we get the small version and not everyone else? are they testing the market?

Meh, I guess their getting into the Sony's "Slim version" of things like the Xbox did also a while ago.

 

So I guess for the next Gen, I'll not only wait for the initial price drop, I'll wait for the Slim version, bigger hardrive and more features 4, to 5 years later or whatever.

I don't get the marketing here but I wasn't really planning to buy a new nintendo console, let alone a mini wii, anytime soon.

I like the look, but I would rather stick with the old one so I can play mario kart online plus my older game cube games like Wind Waker.
