I'm new to this and was wondering where the download hyperlink was?

First you have to go to the page of the mod you want to download

Example: 

Then click on the " View File " button.

Here you have a button called " Download this file ". Click on it and the file should download.

Be aware you can have a small popup in case there are multiple files (here you can select which file to download.)
