Best way to change male NPCs sex?

Basically, what are the best (or is) mod for "male to female" for NPCs?

I mostly dont care enough about essential male NPCs (Like Preston or Maxon) since, theyre essential and changing those can lead to unstable gameplay.

Ive seen a couple of mods that could help towards what i aim but they seem badly made or outdated.

Has anyone accomplished what i aim for and what mods did you use?
