Toselli Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 Hi Here is the thing: I got hyped on making animations for Sims 4 but before i'll started doing any serious(hah) animations i wanted to test out a simple animation while goin' trough whole scripting procedure. And it didn't work, sim is T posing(or nothing happens at all) and seriously, i tried over 9000 times. And because i start thinking that there may be some issue with actual blender file i present you with this humble request. If there is anyone who succesfully got his animation into game, please take my file, do what it takes and prove me, that i can't read properly and i'm missing something out! Then, my soul will be yours and my body shall crumble into dust. I learned from this topic and it's links: Spoiler Thanks for any help! finger malfunction.blend
TheGamerBoy96 Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 Did you baked the animation before inserting it in the package?

TheGamerBoy96 Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 I would not be wrong but it is the process that allows you to apply the changes to the "rig" you are using in blender to the one in the game and to do so you have to: Press "a" in Pose mode to select all the bones and keyframes. press "spacebar" in the search bar write "bake action" and select the checkbox as in picture : Press "Ok" blender will lag a bit and then your animation will be baked

I'll check it out right away!
Simite Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 You shouldn't need to bake the animation if you're not using a control rig; if you're getting a T-pose then you've made a mistake in the XML, if you share the XML file you made or just share the entire package I can help get it working.

I'm down, that XML hell is too much for me to go trough, now the animation doesn't show up in game at all. This test animation is supposed to be played by female, solo and under teasing, so i got rid of actor >1< and it's interactions and actor >0< interactions. I also deleted EVENTS. Palec.package

Palec.package On line 10, you need to add > before the word FLOOR " <T n="animation_locations"FLOOR</T> " You must have accidently deleted this. You have also deleted the animation clip name part and that is very important. The animation clip name is "Strategoi:PosePack_201812271738275491_set_1" EDIT: I still had issues for a while with the XML, it seems you stripped it right down and the package name was not the same as the XML, you can't use : in package names so TURBO should really change that part in his tutorial, I've seen a few people confused by it now. I've renamed the package, changed the hexa/decimal value to match and cleaned up the XML: TOSELLI_WickedWhimsAnimations.package If this doesn't work then there's a problem with the animation clip, just delete the clip + clip header, import a new one and change the animation clip name in the XML to match the new imported animation clip.
