Stating a new game CTD's

OK really close to quitting this game

A complete re-install and no mods the only thing changed is adding F4SE and it will not play at all

I get the main screen where it says press a key - fine

go to next screen and that's fine also, no load game option because I deleted them

press new game screen goes black and all I get is the pulsing vault-tec sign in the bottom right of the screen, after a short while it freezes then CTD

 

So could it be the GTX 1050 card I upgraded to? which is not being recognised even though fallout new vegas does?

Right so...small update, it was that upgrade to a gtx1050ti card. I went down to gtx 750 and no problems. Pathetic that even an old game like guild wars (not GW2) can detect the card but not fallout 4
