as the title is asking, what dlcs would I need to get for some nice sex items to install from here and have functioning?

You need two things to get some BDSM equipment functioning in the game. First you need to download the CC of the equipment. Look up .Noir's stuff and Yrsa's stuff, they both have BDSM equipment. Second you need animations that are made for that equipment. Various animators animate on various equipment so it can take some digging to get them all. Yrsa makes their own animations so that's a guarantee. R-Lo tries to make animations for any new equipment that comes out. If you get the other major animators you'll probably get some that use them, and they may list it on their posts as well.

 

As for BDSM that involves whipping or paddling that's more tricky because you have to download the CC accessory of the paddle, etc, and equip it in the outfit that the character is wearing, and then find the right animation that was made with the sim holding that accessory. Afaik there's not many of that type of bdsm animations made because it's such a hassle.
