Question about editing objects from other mods.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me with editing objects from other mods, I have given it many attempts on my own and I cannot get it working. Weather it's objects appearing far away from where I want them to, or blender just not wanting to co-operate. I have looked for many tutorials through YouTube and Google and I cannot find one that helps me.
