rennex Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Can I import a custom head I made in racemenu for Oldrim into afew npcs I want to make in Creation Kit for SSE? I know the feature doesn't work for the new SSE Racemenu and I'm at a complete loss on how to do this. I spent a few hours looking around the internet for guides but I can't figure out how to get face nif imported to overwrite the npc I created in creation kit. I got the face nif exported from Racemenu LE ran it through SSE NIF Optimizer and dropped it into my CK mesh data folder but I can't find it after that.
didiguns Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 In Skyrim with the character you've made in Racemenu, close out RM, then open the console using ` key. type SPF CharacterFilename. Then when you open CK into that character's esp file, go to the CharGenParts tab on your actor window and click 'Import'. Select the filename you gave to the character. presto. make sure you ctrl+F4 the actor before closing.
rennex Posted December 12, 2018 Author Posted December 12, 2018 So if i'm using hair mods all that stuff should come with it? I want the npc I make to be standalone without having to have apachi hair as a master.
didiguns Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 any mods you used in RM to create the character will need to be dependencies. Otherwise - use the MAFKit tutorial/template to import those items directly into the follower - if you are going to publish the follower, you'll need permissions/credits from all those whose assets you include.
rennex Posted December 12, 2018 Author Posted December 12, 2018 Na this is just for personal use ill try the MAFKit tutorial/template method and see how it works thanks.
