DD Blindfold Dark Fog Option?

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I'm relatively new to modding so this might be a stupid question and/or simple fix.

I'm running SSE with a bunch of mods, including devious devices. I want to try the "Dark Fog" option for the blindfolds, but when I switch to that option in the MCM, it just says "ConsoleUtil does not appear to be installed, which is required." Any help?

Thanks in advance!

Well, since I never had to install ConsoleUtil, I'm guessing it was pre-packaged with devious devices or ZAZ, Maybe it was just never converted for SSE.

I don't know if it's possible to convert it yourself, but here it is.

Thanks, I don't know if it's possible to convert it either. but I'll give it a shot

You never had to install ConsoleUtil? Can you run the dark fog option on Skyrim Special Edition? If so I think you were right, and ConsoleUtil was included in one of those mods. Wonder why I keep running into this issue then...

I'm not sure why Redswift even offered that as a suggestion. ConsoleUtil is a DLL SKSE plugin. SKSE Plugins that reside in the Data\SKSE folder have to be recoded for SKSE64. They cannot be converted easily and often require the source code from the original author to get it ported. Sorry to say, but this won't be happening until someone gets permission and the resources from the original author to release this for SSE.
