I buy Kaya pads and tampon but they're not showing up on sims or family inventory

What should I do when I buy items and not all of them appear on my sims or family inventory such as an umbrella, pads and tampon?

When you order pads or tampons they don't just show up in your inventory, they will be in your mailbox the next day. So just check your mailbox ?
