Just Need Some Answers With New WickedWhims

Hey guys, been gone awhile so haven't kept up to date with what has been going on with Sims 4 or WickedWhims. Just now decided to get back into Sims 4 again, so been reading up on stuff, but still had some questions. Probably been asked, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask again.

 

So the new body selector feature is my main question. How does this work exactly? Note, I haven't downloaded anything yet, as I'm in the process currently of redownloading mods and setting up my game still, but thought I'd ask so I knew ahead of time.

 

Do I need to download all the different bodies to get the options, or are they already included in WW now? And if I do need to download them, is there special versions I need since mostly all of them are default replacers? Won't that mess things up having multiple default replacers? Just a bit confused about this whole new system and how it works exactly. There is probably something somewhere that explains all this in detail and I'm blind and missed it, so if so, could you point me in that direction? lol

The Body Selector is pretty much the old Penis Settings menu but expanded to accommodate additional body meshes, like newer breast meshes, penises, bottoms, etc. etc..

You have to download them separately. WW comes with its own defaults.

 

And if I do need to download them, is there special versions I need since mostly all of them are default replacers? Won't that mess things up having multiple default replacers?

Yup, you need them as accessories. Most body modders provide accessory versions along with the overrides thankfully. If they're older mods, they may require an update to be compatible with the new Body Selector system. People have been uploading updates for them over the past few days, luckily, just search through the WW Downloads subforum for them.

If a body mod you want hasn't been supported, there's a tutorial done by Turbodriver that details how to add them to the Body Selector.

also since this is a fairly new feature in WW.. wouldn't hurt to make sure your mods are updated daily if you can.  In the last two weeks or so like 5 times WW has been updated with fixes and what nots. so make sure you keep on top of it if you want or just wait til the frenzy dies down lol.
