Yanazake Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 So, hi there. I've been following Nightasy tutorials on youtube to learn how to edit and create meshes for skyrim. Everything is good and stuff, but I ran into a texture issue. After putting the edited mesh into the game, the textures just wouldn't show up. I tried asking Nightasy himself, and he told me to join his forum. I thought "ok, he probably want to keep giving support to a few users only..." Then, I saw that obligatory donation part. Ok, the guy is good, I can understand his english [some guides have terrible english, that's why I hate video tutorials in the first place. It's way harder for me since I'm not a native speaker] and I made some progress thanks to him, but I just can't donate anything for him because I'm not in USA, I don't have international Credit Card... I seriously WOULD, I want to make things for my own entertainment... But I just lack the damned money. Anyway, whatever. I'm sure someone here is able to help me with this. http://i48.tinypic.com/11l68if.jpg http://i50.tinypic.com/6sfg92.jpg So, credit will be given for an explanation about this, of course. edit: Ah yeah, info. I'm uaing 3ds max 2012 64bit, was using niftools plugin 373, but switched to 372 because of the visual bone glitches I was getting... It was just visual in the program, nothing wrong with the outcome BESIDES the textures. I didn't mess with this model on Nifskope yet.
Vioxsis Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 You need to mess with the mesh in nifskope to get a working BSLightingShaderProperty. Make sure to copy one for the body from a working ingame body and copy one for the armour from a working ingame armour. then just point the textures to the right place (you don't have to do this for the body). If you need more info than that just ask, no obligatory donation required.

And yeah, I might get back to you, but your name will already reach the special thanks area on whatever I release ;p
