Patience is a virtue my friend. We all have to wait until the modders have updated their mods to the latest version.  Give it 1 or 2 days at most and 99% of all bigger mods should have been updated.

There's nothing wrong about being new, but for future reference until EA/Maxis says Sims 4 is final and there will be no more development there is a chance with every update mods could break. It's best to go into Origin and turn auto updates off and it's not a bad idea to hang around other observe the chatter to be more informed...?

I actually turned off the auto updates. I am planning on get the expansion on Friday and I hope that by then, the two main script mods I use (Wicked Whims and ArtUrlWWW's pregnancy mod) will be updated as well. As for the careers I've downloaded... Well, I guess that most of them (Like the musician and actor ones) will already be on the Get Famous pack anyway. And those who aren't, such as the archaeologist, guess I'll just keep an eye to the download page and see if they're updated too.

Wicked Whims is updated, however it is patreon exclusive. I'm not sure why he hasn't released a free version since August. But, it is updated and (not to knock anyone's hustle) it could be floating around somewhere if you dig well enough

I'm not sure if you saw, but Wicked Whims is now updated for public use! You can download it here!

Everytime Origin does an update or offers a new expansion pack or game, they change the coding cause they hate that we love to  make things better lol and improve the look of sims. the animators then have to change their coding to be compatible. sometimes they are prepared and it is easy, sometimes it is not and takes time.  Just like unkemptpaladin stated, I remove my mod folder before updating . I never add back until Turbo states it's safe. If he says (WW) that it will break mods, i remove the animations only and only download those which show here they have been updated after the release of ww pain in the booty !!!!! yup but worth the trouble. ww, lupioblanca(?), azmodan, wildguy, i think,  lifeline are a few that have already updated their animations. ya gotta do the work and check often. WW is very good and corrected errors and releasing early. i understand this one was difficult.
