AaronLocke98 Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 So wickedwhims is not working for me. i have the mod installed right, as well as animations. it worked in the other day, but not now. In the "view mods" section or whatever it is in game, shows that the turbodrivers are where they are supposed to be. mods and script mods are enabled. ive even tried taking everything out and reinstalling it, but nothing. the mods show up in custom content, but i cant use this mod. all other mods work. and i havent updated the game at all, nor recently downloaded anything. everything is up to date with the version of the game i have. so i dont know
AaronLocke98 Posted November 15, 2018 Author Posted November 15, 2018 i never updated my game though. i always play offline because origin gives me problems whenever it tries to update so i stopped doing that. I've just been playing offline mode for a while. like i said, all my mods are up to date with the version of the game i have. all those mods do work, except WW. they show up on the mods list, but cant be used in game. I've even been trying to run the game with just WW and animation packs that i already had for it. they show up on the mods list, the turbo drivers are where they are supposed to be, but i cant use the mod. it might have somehow updated itself, i dont know how. but anything is possible i guess. ill wait till all the updated stuff comes out and try again.
WintermistShadow Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 Hmm, maybe put the Animations in the Wicked Whims file? (I'm not an expert or anything but it's the only way it works for me.) Do you delete the text files? (Readme, important etc.) that come with some mods? And or pic files also in some mod files? For most mods, you also don't want to click replace if you try installing two of the same one. These things may help with updating your game. http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/help/cache.php Also excluding Origin and Sims 4 from security scans may help. (Some Anti Virus programs mess updating up.) Turning them off for a few minutes while updating might help too but be careful, you don't want to leave them off too long.
Simite Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 If you have recently updated your mods then you will need the latest version of sims 4 to run them on Try updating your game.
