I forgot to turn off auto -update. ....Fuuuuuu Here's what still works as far as I can tell Body Mods - I only really use Better body, and it still seems to work, as do all my skin mods, hair, make up, etc. Expected that to work. Custom aspirations and traits seem okay, and can still be selected when in CAS. Appears most of the objects and modded objects work. What doesn't work - Wicked Whims. Completely off the charts like it's not even there with one exception - the exhibitionist reward is still showing up for sims who have earned it, but the rest of the rewards in the store are gone. Poof! Pose player is DOA, as is any other mod that ended is ts4script - so basically kaboom!. Not much for me to do now except sit back and wait for this to get fixed. Help us Turbo! You're our only hope! LOL!

I did a reload of my machine a couple weeks back, restored all my backup content and started a new game because, hey, why not, right? And then I got busy with other crap, and blah blah I did a dumb. Entirely my fault, so I'll just be patient.

43915 Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 That must be it. Left my computer after closing the game a while ago, and it must have updated while I was gone. Nothing works, it's like all the mods are gone. Any clue how long it usually takes before it's fixed?

I refuse to be the guy who keeps hassling Turbo and others, I know they've got skills that I don't, so I'll just chill and wait for them to do what they do, and just thank them profusely when they're done.
Bradie Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 i mean there was just a big update haha tbh it's going to be worth the wait now we have POV mode which.. is gonna be awesome i think try not to stress, turbo has always been very quick w/ their updates because they're fantastic at what they do :] you'll be back to watching your sims do the nasty in no time, haha! maybe until then i'd suggest trying out the new features on their own! the update looks really cool
tankunish Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 I also forgot to turn off my updates, and went in only to realize in the worst way that the mods broke. I had extended pregnancy times with WW, and suddenly my sim was speeding through their pregnancy. I quickly closed the game without saving, it gave me such a scare lol!

I don't have a seriously developed game, so I won't break anything if I blow up a few characters here and there. I'm just glad we have a talented group of modders to sort through this.

I have a new laptop I just got a couple days ago and it took forever to put all the mods back together from scratch after redownloading both my games (sims 3 and 4). I didn't even think to go to turn off the auto update. It makes me so sad..
