Has Sims 4 anims quality surpassed Sims 3?

Its tough. The quality of animations in Sims 3 has always been a cut above but man has there ever been a jump in Sims 4 animation quality. I took a break from the game only to come back and be blown away but some of the stuff available now. One of the animators name starting with an M I'm even wondering if its Lady in disguise lol. I don't know, I think Sims 4 if not edging is getting close to overtaking Sims 3 quality Wise. What say you guys?

Sims 4 is far superior to Sims 3 in this regards, definitely. The only problem is the lack of open-world...

Sims 4 animation is way more better than Sims 3.  However gameplay is bland.   I love the open world and different challenges of Sims 3.
