SexLab effects do not work

Here I am with another question to be solved. As a title, I have a small problem. From the configuration of SexLab (Look in screen) a series of specific effects is active, which should start at a specific moment of the animation (The final phase). 
The problem is this: either it never starts, or it starts when it's all over, including animation, which suggests some delay to the response of the effects, I think they should start anyway with still ongoing animation, that is during orgasm. As I read on a post by Komotor, I set all the phases with the times to 220 to try to get around the problem, but the problem remains. Is there any particular setting to be done? something is missing? I do not pretend that the effects always start, but at least, every now and then at the right time
