Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 So yeah, now that it's over, I think it's offically time for a HALO live action movie. But only if they do it right, like this was done. CrimsonOmegaLance Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 i agree... they could easily do the Fall of Reach (The Book) as the training of the Spartan program.
Guest Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 It's very well done. The writing and acting isn't phenomenal, but what is are the special effects and cinematography.
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 Yeah, but the actors were actually young enough (early 20s at most or younger I'd imagine) that they actually looked the part to me, with the acting inexperience not really coming into full exposure until the combat starts, although they did decently since by that point they were almost background items.

[/quote'] I can agree with that. What really pained me was the writing. I mean cmon, really. Who thought it was a good idea to give Master Chief the line: "Controlled bursts! Don't spray and pray!" God that was awful (and hilarious). For the most part it was fine, but that's one notable exception.
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 Well to be honest, I think the Chief's dialouge was fine. In all the books, he seems to be rather quiet, not exactly speaking up, and having been in the military, I can see his being that way and it making sense. Besides the Chief is the strong mostly quiet type. edit: who else thinks that the chick that dies in the last episode is hot ?
