Dragons Unleashed Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 OK so like i got all the required shit downloaded for sexlab light se but the launcher runs the setting screen but the actual game wont start after me pressing "Play" tf do i do
Guest Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 1.- Specify the "all the required shit" you got installed. 2.- Don't use SL light, there is already a SL version made for SE. 3.- Which "launcher" do you refer to? The default Skyrim launcher? your mod manager? something else?

Guest Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Well... you have the latest version (I guess, not using SSE right now) of Skyrim and RaceMenu is expecting another version. This is because you updated Skyrim and RaceMenu has not been updated yet to support the latest Skyrim version. So revert your Skyrim to the previous version or wait for RaceMenu to be updated. The same applies to similar error messages, you will see that the message clearly states which mods are having issues to work with your current version (the mods that need to be updated are SKSE-related, and most of them are regularly updated a couple of days after Skyrim SE updates).

Guest Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 You either follow a guide (like this one) or someone who has the exe file from the previous version can give it to directly. Note that the guide I linked is just an example, I think you need to enter different values for each Skyrim version available. There are plenty of those guides about how to revert to a prev version and how to prevent/be safe for future updates. As I've said, I don't have Skyrim SE installed now, so I can't send the exe to you, but if you look around someone may have a link already.

As I've said, I don't have Skyrim SE installed now, so I can't send the exe to you, but if you look around someone may have a link already. i got it reverted and installed but it gets too the "play, settings, support, and exit" menu and i hit play and it doesnt launch the game
rasinkane321 Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 You have to use the SKSE64_loader.exe that should be in your skyrim SSE folder, not the steam launcher.
Lodakai Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Also... keep in mind that if you are using the bethesda launcher... you will have updated your executable back to 1.5.53 You should ONLY run skyrim with skse or through Mod organizer or NMM using the SKSE launcher. Avoid the bethesda launcher like the plague that it is.
