EXP Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 Thought I'd try asking first before attempting since there aren't many tutorials out for this aside from "porting to fallout guide" but what I'm wondering is completely different. I'm not very proficient at this so I hope you'll forgive me, I've only done the basic editing of cutting off parts to make the hair shorter, but I've been meaning to give it a ponytail, however, it's not as simple as splicing armor together. I was hoping there was an easier process of doing this; if not then I appreciate the response and will try on my own.
Guest Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 Personally, I don't think there's an easy way to do that. I'm not much into meshes, but this is what I'd do. I'd erase all the other unused parts of the hairstyle, leaving only the pony tail, then I'd combine it with the other mesh in the right location. However, the problem is I should redo the UV... and... I guess I'd keep the original mesh .egt file (not the ponytail, the other one). Yes it would be definetely a chore for me.
EXP Posted September 27, 2018 Author Posted September 27, 2018 Figured as much, but I really appreciate the feedback on what you would do. It helps considering it'd be my first time working with something like this.
