It's all .kf,well what I'm trying to add to anyway.

 

Maybe this will be easier.

Let's say I'm going to re-create this oh so famous pic people have been asking about forever...

 

 

 

 

The pose is from CTAddPose_Bkasou. This is all .kf files. I assume it's the one that's named liedead.kf but it shows up as jibberish in game so I can't be sure but I go through each pose anyway.

 

The puddle is from CTaddPose Dsk(erori). There's various puddles between HG4.nif,HG5.nif and HG6.nif and the base one named cream.dds.

 

I open nifskope.

I load HG4.nif from the erori folder and select copy branch.

Load liedead.kf from the bkasou folder.

Right click on 0 Ni Controller Sequence.

Go to block and choose paste branch.

Save as/overwrite liedead.kf.

 

Where'd I go wrong?

 

I also tried saving a liedead.nif but that was no help.

That's where you went wrong. You do not touch the .kf files. At all. This only controls the posture of the body. You need to find the .nif file that corresponds to the .kf file. Like I said, you must find the .nif that matches with your particular .kf pose, and edit that instead.

It did, trust me, it did. You just need to search your file directory to find them. There is also a way to find them using the Construction Set but it's difficult to explain. This is turning into a modding tutorial thread and I have no intention of derailing it further.
