mrpimp Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 My first question is: 1 - With Whicked Whims newest version, is nomosiac even required anymore? It seems like it might not be needed and might be causing my issues. 2 - Is it possible that nomosiac is causing the "head bob" issue (where the queue is full or something and sims are slow to act (sim lag)) ? I seem to notice it most after adding the nomosiac package, which I admit is old because I haven't found a new one (I looked). 3 - What is the bare minimum no frills known working for WW + Basemental drugs? I'm concerned my issues (mostly the sim lag/head bob) may be caused by bad mods. I know I need some additional mods for nice body parts etc in addition to WW, and I want basemental drugs gameplay. aside from that, I dont mind losing outdated mods. (I'm version 1.46.18.1020, all game packs Expansion packs are all except for the new seasons one) I've trimmed down my mods to what I believe is only traits, animations and body parts and "Emotional easels" mature replacements for some emotional paintings. My only script mods are newest WW and newest Basemental drugs mods. I just now removed nomosiac to see if that fixes the lag, hoping the blur does not return (havent gone back but about to now). I did notice the WW popup came up immediately once I removed nomosiac (loaded after remove and then save+exit) I am able to post a list of all my CC/mods, if that would help find the ones I should trash next. I follow directions and trust the knowledge I've found here recently. 4 - I like the traits, but recently saw a post about some of them having issues, not sure what those are but would also like to know so I know what to look for. I'm really just trying to get my game running smoothly, with WW + Basemental gameplay features, which I enjoy. I appreciate and thank you in advance, for any help figuring this out or simply clarifying things I suspected. Thanks!

Spyder Arachnid Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 You don't need a no mosaic mod while using WickedWhims. It does that automatically for you. Trait mods are usually an issue unless they are updated every single patch. If you have some that haven't been updated recently, then best to get rid of them as they will cause problems. The bare bones to get WickedWhims to work right, is simply use WickedWhims. If you want Basemental Drugs as well, then use that too. Only other thing you would need is some animations (which you have covered) and then a nude body (which you seem to have covered with Better Body) and some nude textures (which again, you seem to have covered). That is really it. Nothing else is required to have those running, everything else is just optional. If you just want your game to run smoothly with WickedWhim and Basemental Drugs, just use what I mentioned above. Everything else is optional and isn't required for any hanky panky in your game. And just avoid trait mods, as they can be the source of your issues right there, unless you absolutely need them and know they are current and not outdated. The main problems you'll always run into when it comes to outdated mods, is anything that changes the game. I don't mean clothing, objects, skins, hairs, etc. I mean game changing mods like WickedWhims, UI Cheats, Scripted mods, Traits, major overhauls to game play mechanics. If those are not updated, they will cause tons of problems. So avoid them unless they are current, and when the game updates, remove them till they update to the latest version to avoid any issues.

mrpimp Posted September 23, 2018 Author Posted September 23, 2018 Update: 2 weird things happened in my last game just now. 1 - I got a romantic trait debuff, but I dont have the romantic trait. 2 - My drug dealer who has a slut trait (we're very good friends already hehe) came over and while my dude was recovering from a meth binge (asleep), she decided to 'have fun' solo. It was fine until she started blowing herself (no strap on or anything). So now I've removed all my custom traits and I dont plan to reinstall them unless I stumble across newer versions. I may also get rid of lots of animations until newer ones appear. Going back for more testing, game is definitely smoother now after removing the outdated nomosiac and can confirm WW takes care of the nudity just fine. Thanks! New Update: I'm now fairly certain basemental drugs is the problem. I was having an ok time until I started leaving mdma laying around the lab at work. Once NPC started popping them, everything went to shit fast. Lots of sim lag, I even popped out of an animation and rubberbanded back to a different location (unusual). Removing basemental drugs until they offer the working version for free (not doing the patreon thing). Pretty sure WW is not the issue. Basemental I was using was version 1.3.0.62

Never used it before as it was never my thing (might try it though since Wicked Perversions requires it...). Sorry couldn't help ya there, but hopefully someone else has more knowledge about it. Or try posting in the topic of it and see if you can get some assistance. Or check the troubleshooting faq on the main site.
