particularly, how to add gloss with snapdragon enb?

and, do i also need glossy/wet textures to do so?

Long time not messing with Skyrim anymore but i'll try to remember:

In ENVIRONMENT:

Play a bit with Specular. Both Amount and Power. Usually high values means more glossy, BUT too high values can look weird tho.

It would be interesting to play a bit with IMAGEBASEDLIGHTING too. Can make things a lot shiny, with wet look. When i was still playing i was trying to modify my rainy weathers to all have wet look with Specular and Imagebased Lighting. Can't remember which one made some difference though, if Aditive, Multiplicative or Reflective.

You can get effects pretty much like this (actually, with any ENB, i was not using snapdragon, probably the shots were taken with different and all tweaked ENBs):

I kind of discovered it after i took these two shots below... My character was all "glossy" and i knew it had to do with specular, so i tried tweaking it. The IMAGEBASEDLIGHTING was later and used in the above shots.

About texture... Well, the latter was CBBE, i don't remember which texture right now...
The first ones are UUNP with FSM, SRM or something like that, i guess. Last texture i installed and, at the time i was playing, the best for me.

So you probably can get a good effect with pretty much any body/texture, BUT if you have already sweaty/wet textures the effect may be better or worse.

Also be sure to try Killer's Realistic Skin SSS Patch, for me it improves a lot the overall look of the skin for almost all ENBs i tried. Just change the values to these ones, you can even do it midgame.

EDIT: you probably won't get some effects with REFLECTION deactivated. Be sure to check that both interior and exterior are marked in reflection.

Also, if the ENB uses Weather System, you'll need to change the values in the Weather tab, not the normal enbseries. This is the way you can add more glossy only when it is raining, for example.

Textures are the easiest way I guess. If you want to do it through ENB, it has something to do with Specular values.

This modified version of snapdragon has really glossy look.

What you need to change are the values in the "Object" menu.

The SSS settings also subtly influence the gloss (high SSS reduces apparent gloss). Note that specular textures not designed with gloss in mind will not show any gloss effect regardless of ENB settings.

The relevant keys are the 6 Specular Amount and Specular Power settings in the Object menu. Setting all of them to 8 will give you a starting point (8 is maximum) -  for most people that is way too much, but you can dial it down to where you want - I like them around the middle for dark environments and a little lower for bright ones.

In general lower power tends to diffuse the emission and higher amount tends to make the emission stronger. Higher power and amount will give you a look close to glass however you have to play with a bit to adjust the look in bright environments. It can be very distracting if you have lens flare switched on, for example, and walk outside in bright sunlight.

The Environment tab is best left at default, however the 'Specular from light' settings tend to have a disproportionately high change to any adjustments. I have yet to see any effect from the other settings on character, maybe they are more to do with environmental objects rather than skin.
