hi i dunno if this is the right section to post this

today i opened nifskope to this Untitled.png.1756d9435446e6e9a998ce0534a6df00.pngin case you didn't notice it the top icons are zoomed in to the point of appearing pixelated the perspective window is also messed up as you can see

i tried re positioning everything didn't work

i tried reverting to an older version of Nifskope and it still didn't work

any idea on how to fix this

do note that this is the only program that is doing this on my computer also it appears that i can select the model by pressing empty space in the perspective view

thnx

Options-theme check if you have changed this to winxp or something otherwise go to options-settings-general restore all defaults.

If nothing changes then try refresh your screen resolution through windows or your graphics control panel and restart.

okay so when i change the resolution while having it open then reverting back to my native resolution while still having it on it fixes itself but the moment i close it and re open it it goes back to being borked

Well the only thing that changes the icons other than dragging them is in options-settings-general-themes there is icon size setting but resolution is not controlled by anything so it's a windows or gpu control panel problem I think, most likely this is something with windows because that is where it would get the screen resolution information.

I'm only guessing if you are on win10 there is nothing about win7 and this problem that I've found yet.

Check in control panel for windows, go to display and see if settings for setcustomdpi settings have been changed. Mine is set to 125% but I'm on a 1080 monitor that is set to 1440 resolution so normally it would only be 100%

thnx a lot dpi seems to have fixed it apparently it was set to 125 but was actually on 150 and i'm on a 1080 monitor as well no idea how that happened

nifskope doesn't like 150 at all, i can go up as far as 149 fine with no issues

yes i like my icons large

thnx again
