Pregnancy 1026 doesn't appear on my MCM menu

Recommended Posts

I thought that I posted this, but I don't see it there; perhaps, I was mistaken.

Since I undated Pregnancy to 1026, it no longer appears on my MCM menu. Is this by design, so that it is no longer alterable by the user, or is this a big problem? If the latter, how can I fix it?

* I've been advised that restarting the game makes Pregnancy show up, and that it's due to a bug in MCM (I've experienced a bug in which the options didn't show up, but never one in which the mod didn't appear on the list). Before posting the question, I already restarted the game, then did a clean install, then restarted the game a few times, and it still doesn't show up.

Load order can be a issue to but considering you have not provided one we can't do anything.

It's the same load order that I've previously been told is fine; but, here ya go:

Well' date=' I just checked mine again and MCM is working fine, and it appears no one else has reported this issue, something on your install is different or corrupted somehow, there's not much I can do to help if I can't reproduce the error on my version..

[/quote']

Thanks for the reply.

I tried a clean install of MCM, but that didn't help, either. How basically do you imagine that this is corrupted? Does it need a complete, ground-up reinstall, or is there anything else to try?

Just to be certain, you are using the standard MCM and not the one included in Project Nevada, right? PN uses its own remix which doesn't really play nice with others (though PN works fine if you install the standard MCM over top of it). Also, be sure to use Unified HUD.

The only other thing I can think is sometimes when there are too many menus within MCM, stuff starts acting funny.

quickedit: have you tried re-installing a previous version of Pregnancy to see if the menu comes back?

Which is what I just said, more or less. :P

I suspect he already has installed MCM correctly, since he did mention a clean install above, and since it was working before. Just trying to cover all the bases.

Also, though not strictly vital, I like to have all my Sexout esps in succession, and at the end of my load order, so if there are (for some reason) any conflicts, Sexout always wins.

I moved Sexout to the very end of the loadout; it wasn't a problem before, but, I'm taking all suggestions. I installed the new HUD... I have not, however, yet discovered what it does.

I just did a clean install of the 1007 version of Pregnancy, (I'd done a clean install of the 1026 version, too), and that one DOES show up in MCM, same as before.

Hm. That is interesting. I will install 1026 a bit later tonight to see if it shows up for me. I usually don't use pregnancy as it's constantly being updated' date=' breaking, getting fixed, updating... and so on, heh.[/quote']

Yeah, I feel for you :) I'm hoping to see an end to that soon and get back into some gametime and a new mod or 3.

I was having this issue and I corrected it by installing the newest version of SCR (The one released as of November 2nd, in my case).

Not sure if it got addressed elsewhere, or if you guys figured out your own solutions, just throwing my fix out there.

I don't know why that would fix it. But I did look throught the code again in Pregnancy MCM and didn't see anything obvious, it's still working fine for me too.

I didn't do anything to fix anything; but, since your mod was working, I figured that, maybe, if I just tried again after playing for a long time, this magic voodoo box might just make it work for no reason, at all-- and it did.

I'm not going to post this in technical support unless it happens, again, since it just completed the cycle and might have just been something goofy that happened because the mod was just installed; but, not long after I installed it, my toon-- who was using her birth control-- received an alert that she could be pregnant. The alerts went all the way through to, "here's your baby" (yesterday afternoon) without her body or the pregnancy scanner showing anything, or any developing fetus appearing in the inventory.
