Origin won't update Sims 4

This keeps popping up whenever I try to update the game.

 

I've tried standing in different parts of my house aswell lol

Standing in your home, in different places, really won't help. Since you were able to connect to post this here. You have connection...

 

First, try a repair, the cogwheel (settings) icon for the game, or right click on SIms 4, and Verify Files... If that doesn't get it to kick in, then, you may have to reinstall Sims 4 entirely, or even possibly, reinstall Origin it's self. Make sure you are downloading Origin from the Origin web site. https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/download I wouldn't trust any other site, you may need to change the language to your native, if English is not it.
