F4SE Scripts folder is missing??? Reoccuring problem

When I first got into Fallout 4 adult mods, I spent the better part of an entire day trying to figure out how my F4SE scripts folder was missing, when I had every file accounted for. When I loaded up the game, it would give a text saying that the F4SE scripts folder was missing, so stripping wouldn't work, and it didn't. Actors would just stand still, clothed, during sex. I eventually figured it out, and got it to work, but I forgot how I fixed it. Now, I had to update F4SE, so I uninstalled and reinstalled from the website, and when I loaded up the clean save, the scripts folder was missing. And it's the same exact problem. I have every file in my Fallout 4 directory, there is a scripts folder in Data that is identical to the one you get when you download F4SE in the zip folder.

Well that's weird. Are you using the installer? I had to copy it over manually personally. Are you sure it's the correct f4se for your game version? I mean it should be or everything f4se dependant would have a hissy fit on start up. General consensus is the installer isn't reliable. I've been manually installing ever since. But shit, if you can see it and it matches up . . . I dunno.

Yeah so in my impatience to get this thing up an running, I found the source of the problem. It wasn't F4SE that was the problem, that was installed correctly, it was four play that was causing the issue. I reinstalled it and when I loaded up the save it worked perfectly. I have no idea how four play broke like that. . . but reinstalling worked.
