Synivali Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 Hello everyone. After looking at the numerous Adult sex mods, it looks like I want to go with RSE, but I have a few questions. 1) Which animation pack works well with RSE? AAF or FourPlay? 2) Does RSE or the animation packs allow for multiple partners? Thanks in advance, and any other suggestions that would help are welcome. -Syn
JaySean Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 1. I use AAF and that works fine. 2. Yes multiple partners animation works with AAF animation packs.
Sulphur.999 Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 I'd give it a minute for AAF. There is a significant bug that make things kind of wonky. I expect an update that addresses the situation soon. I'd wait for that. Having said that, I don't get to decide what "soon" is, so there's that. I use AAF also, but I've figured out how to get around the bug and don't sweat having to do so. Your mileage may vary. Fourplay version is stable and works well, but you are REALLY limited on animations. Other than the bug I find AAF superior in every way, and the bug will go away soon.
DwarfKing424 Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 I keep running into a problem where having my character go to the restroom where if it's not on an RSE toilet, it tends to freeze my character in place and they can't move. Also, it looks like my script prompts for eating, drinking and sleeping are slowing down and it's taking longer in between consuming items and notifying that "your hunger is sated/your thirst is quenched." At first, I thought it was clashing with the Heather Casdin mod for some reason because the Heather mod kept coming up in Papyrus as causing problems. So I removed the Heather mod to test RSE again. I thought I fixed it, at first, but eventually the notification prompts started slowing down again and right back to the same problem. I haven't been able to find a fix yet or figure if there's anything else I'm doing wrong. Also, I should note, I'm running RSE and my animations on FourPlay. Not sure if that could be the problem, could it?

I been watching your conversation in RSE thread and scared the crap out of me. When I updated to AAF 7b today and logged in I couldn't get the hungry/thirsty icons to go away and I thought I caught what you did. Sleeping made me hungry/thirsty again and they cleared tho. Something is corrupting the timing on the RSE scripts, but I have no idea what that might be. I'll tell ya tho, to really get fluent with these mods it's best to start on a minimal load out. They are all sooo complicated. Like, just FP and it's dependencies, Leito's animations, FP RSE and patch. See how it works then. Then add stuff. When it happens again you know what caused it. I'm not very familiar with FP tho. I tried it once and then gave AAF a look and never looked back. AAF has it's issues too, but I'm hoping, and hopeful, that this update is gonna make the thing take off. You have already posted your load order somewhere haven't you?

Speaking of which: @JaySean AAF was updated today. Now's as good a time as any. No I haven't. Is there an easy way to copy it from somewhere so I'm not writing down every esp file? At the moment, I'm trying RSE again without including Devious Devices, Torture Devices and Heather Casdin (much as it pains me to remove her) since all of those are script heavy mods. The only other mods I have are a bunch from Nexus Mods that add standalone weapons, companion overhauls and outfits. I do have Elianora's Armor Compendium which I imagine has some scripts involved, considering Eli inserted her own OC and voiced lines for her etc. Hopefully, that won't cause any issues, but that's if my attempt at running RSE without the other three script heavy mods can get it working. But yes, if I may ask, what's a quick way to copy and paste my load order here? (In case you haven't guessed, I'm a total n00b at modding. I thought I was hot shit modding on the XB1 until I jumped to PC and now, FML)

Folks here are really helpful too. You'll catch up. Are you using NMM? Most folks are. Unfortunately I don't and I don't remember how to do it from NMM. I want to say there's an export load order, or something along those line, somewhere in that mess at the top. What kind of computer specs you got? I think RAM would be the biggest issue if that is the problem. I run a lot of scripts but my machine is fairly burly, if a year or so old. (Except my vid card. It's pretty so-so.) I don't have any of those issues. I gotta point out tho, the very best way to get a handle on all this stuff is to start small and work up. I know you don't wanna hear that, but there it is. I started with just f4se, looksmenu, cbbe, AAF and animation packs and started loading shit from there until something broke. I'd make a note and do it again. Of course, I'm an idiot and think that shit is fun, so there's that. Profiles are your friend! LOOT is NOT. Let us know what happens.

Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80 GHz. 8GB RAM. 64bit OS, x64-based processor. I set it earlier this afternoon to allocate more memory towards running Fallout 4, thinking that might be the problem. Even fiddled with the game launch options but still ran into the problem which brought me to uninstalling llamaRCA's Heather Casdin to see if the excess in scripts was causing the issue. Still ran into the problem which brings me to where I'm at now in trying to run it without DD and TD mods. If this doesn't work, I'm probably just gonna turn off Basic and Advanced Needs and just run RSE with CSA, Abductions and Perversions and switch it to vanilla Survival Mode. Sulphur.999 Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 8 gigs. Yeah. I can see you having scripting issues. That doesn't exactly mean that's what it is, but more RAM is always better. Your cpu is plenty stout. I'm being an elitist prick here, but I'd be suspect of your MB too. HP, while a decent business machine, is more interested in your money than your gaming satisfaction and they tend to go cheap on the motherboard. It shouldn't be that big a deal tho. I used one for years. Might be worth looking to see if they have some updated firmware for it. Have you figured out how to use profiles? If not, you should. Then you can load a side save with just the basics and see how shit works then. Then do like I do. Laugh maniacally as you add more and more crap until the whole thing laughs back. If you decide you've had enough and want to just sell your shit, don't. Uninstall all that crap and grab MO2. It's a fairly drastic step as you have to reinstall everything but the game itself but it handles profiles (and everything else IMO) SO much better than NMM. I think your plan sounds like it's doable. I dunno tho. Haven't tried that. My money would be on a mod conflict. Unfortunately they are a pain in the ass to figure out. I'd be giving truestorms the side eye. Seems to me that would be fairly cpu/ram intensive. I have no idea if that's true, just a thought.
Guest Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 True Storms (and its addons) and the Reverb and Ambiance mods would be my top two choices for cpu cycle eaters... since both of these mods are doing RUNTIME enhancements to visuals and sounds. No basis in fact on this one, just assumption. And query? Why does this thread exist when RSE has an actual support thread for just these very things??? <confused>
