Non-animated ones like Tentacle Harness and Barnacles enable/disable fine with or without it so it's definitely just this mod. ESPs are in order, reinstalled all the mods at least once, etc...

You need to make sure animated parasites loads after xp32 skeleton, and the CTDs should stop. however, huggers and barnicles will only apply if you are in blackreach (as far as i can tell) and the hip huggers are missing textures. I got around this by adding a folder named "Hugger" to "Skyrim Special Edition\Data\textures\auxbones" and then adding in all the files from "Skyrim Special Edition\Data\textures\armor\kyneblessing\beltfacehugger".

 

EDIT: there still seems to be issues with at least some custom races causing CTDs. Replacing the races skeleton with the animated parasites skeleton might work, but it seems to get overwritten every time you deploy if you use vortex, and other mod managers would probably have similar issues.

How did you get slif to work. I attempted to follow the various instructions but the interface is rather esoteric.

I’m having trouble with the parasites. When I use the chaurus worm or facehugger they appear at the feet of my character and not the corresponding place. As well the belt facehugger is missing a texture, how can I fix this issues?

Well if it uses a different from XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended 4.80 Skeleton then possible. There should be a bone hierarchy (NPC -> NPC Root [Root] -> NPC COM [COM] -> CME Body [Body] -> CME LBody [LBody] -> NPC Pelvis [Pelv]

I’ll check with the mod creator, but I’m sure it is using the XP32 Skeleton

Would it be possible for you to create another Legendary edition version of the updated version of this mod? I can't get the features of Estrus Chaurus+ or SexLab Parasites to work with SE : (

In general, LE took off completely. That's why I can't support the LE version anymore

Yeah it’s not working, and now my races are in a constant T-Pose with no animations. I’ll post my load order and mods below, maybe you’ll have better luck (sorry for bad quality)

Also, remove SL Kidnapped Redux. That mod is so broken, it causes nothing but CTD's. It has collectively been said to just avoid it on LE and SE until someone fixes the problems with it.

 

And what Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition patch is that? That doesn't look capitalized like the official one.

 

Did you regenerate FNIS after everything?

 

Secondly, make sure you're not installing the Skeleton compatibility patch for XMPSE 4.7+ anymore. That is no longer needed. The latest version of the AnimatedParasites mod supports the latest XPMSE now.

 

The files from XPMSE should overwrite everything EXCEPT MoreNastyCritters and its related mods. Those modify the creature meshes and the modifications are required for animations to work.

 

I would post your modwat.ch, instead of just the plugins. The plugin list is quite useless by itself. A lot of problems can be the file list overrides too.

Installed the complete set The Selachii - Shark Race - (UNOFFICIAL) SSE Port 3.50

AnimatedParasites SE works but there are breast problems. Shark Race - Digitigrade.esp uses a non-standard XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended skeleton and your own, if you have Shark Race - Digitigrade disabled, turn it off and try without it.

I disabled it, but how do I regenerate FNIS? I'm a noob to this, is it just updating FNIS behavior?

I was mainly talking about the T-pose problem I’m having, I tried updating it but every time I go in the character is always in a T-pose
