Asukah Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Is there a way to install skyrim twice on my pc? I broke my game too often and now i want one more skyrim folder to test out new mods. Copying my current skyrim folder didn't work, cause i can't run my new skyrim with new mods without installing them in the original skyrim folder. The skyrim launcher just lists the esp's of my original skyrim directory, but not the new ones.
Ark of Truth Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Yes but only through illegal means which we cannot help you do.
shedidwhat Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Asukah, try Mod Organizer http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1334 it does not install mods to the data folder so your data folder will always be clean
sbire Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 there's a way to install it twice. copy and rename your skyrim folder after installing via steam. then play with one folder and use the renamed as backup. if you want to play with the backup; rename your current folder and change the backup back to skyrim. you can do that with the data folder only, too. you can do that similar with tha savegame folder, also. Asukah' date=' try Mod Organizer http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1334 it does not install mods to the data folder so your data folder will always be clean [/quote'] quite useless to my opinion, if you have enough space at the current partition.
