Ash71 Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Yea that was my mistake, overwriting a vanilla facegeom dosn't register in MO. You have the right filepath if it is conflicting against bijin. I downloaded better females and am taking a look at this.
Ash71 Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 I mean.... it's working, can see jordis has a crazy neck seam here cause she is using different head texture I dunno how to get the tintmasks applied to only her though, either gonna have to do some texture editing magic in gimp/photoshop Or install better females normally.... drop her facegen into racemenu, edit until you get her looking how you want. then export. Could be baked into her facetint then maybe? I'll mess around with this some more soon and let you know what I find.
Dilios300 Posted August 23, 2018 Author Posted August 23, 2018 Thank you. I'm confident your far better at this than I am. I hope you can sort this out. Best of luck.
Ash71 Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 Try this, was working on my system. Remember to uninstall any mod that would modify jordis from vanilla apperance aside from this one. Tintmasks are just her makeup ect. and is going to be a matter of personal preference. You will have to generate a new facetint if you want to alter it. If you are using racemenu I can walk you through it if you decide to change them. Let me know if you run into any snags. Cheers Jordismod.7z
Dilios300 Posted August 24, 2018 Author Posted August 24, 2018 I do in fact use Racemenu and can change the facetint from there if need be, but in the meantime I'll install your mod and see what happens. EDIT : Ok, I went ingame and your mod works perfectly. I changed my mod to be identical to yours in every way except I didn't include the redguard lip texture and mine still is completely useless. I've no notion of how this is happening, but I do know I'll be keeping your mod in MO's modlist. I cant adequately thank you enough for doing what I -- apparently -- could not do, cause even tho its a minor thing it would've driven me nuts! Not only that, but now I can just copy your method to apply any texture to any npc. I've already done the same technique for Hroki. Thats knowledge too useful to forget, so I think I'll just keep this page bookmarked for future reference. Thank you again for everything.
Ash71 Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 No problem buddy, I'm glad we got it working finally. Skyrim and creation kit is just quirky and even when you seemingly do everything right, sometimes it just decides no lol Be careful not to go too crazy adding unique textures, every instance of a texture has to be cached in your VRAM as it appears ingame and can lead to textures not loading correctly or crashes depending on how beefy your graphics card is and how close to it's limit you are. Anyways, have fun. Cya around
