Scars, Warpaints and Tattoos

The question I have may sound rather strange, but I'd like to confirm something before posting impossible requests.

 

First, I already know that scars are added to the face with an additional mesh that is (usually) "skintight" and invisible everywhere except the scar itself. Do the Warpaint work the same way or is that completely different? I couldn't fo

 

Now to the main-question:

Would it be possible to add body-tattoos as items using the same "skintight" meshes, perhaps as wearable items?
