MasterKriiden Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 First off, Name is Kriiden. Been more of a lurker then a poster. Just wanted to get that out of the way. The huge amount of creativity on this board still astounds me. So much interesting stuff. However, with all this creative stuff, thing's can get lost, and people can get confused. Namely, for example, me. I have always enjoyed the BBP of Cherry's body mod, just not the size. So I also installed CBBE Type 3 (Or whatever the newest version is). Then, afterwords, I installed several better looking texture packs for females, then different walking animations. My problem is, With all the different things almost to the way I'm liking, thing's get buggy, as it usually is when you mix and match different kinds of mods. I'm afraid if I change too much in the way thing's override thing's in the NMM, I'll screw up something major. I guess what I am asking is the following: 1. Do I need CHSBHC for the bouncing physics? Or can I used the TBBP from another author (Can't remember his name, his mod is posted in the adult mod section of the skyrim mod forums) or do I need both? 2. What is the perfect mix of mod's to get that perfect fit? I know it goes by preference, so it's a hard question to ask. I'm into morderate/large sized busts on NPC characters I travel around with. I have a preference for the CBBE body, moderate (As stated above) size. I'd post a picture, but the issue is, the textures and body are so messed up, that it wouldn't really be accurate. 3. I was hoping someone could give me suggestions on stuff I shouldnt mix and match (EX, different running styles?, stuff that could cause texture issues (Right now, for texture issues, There is a grey line around the waist area for females, and the hands do not match up to wrists) I know I'm asking a lot, and I appreciate any help I would recieve. I also am assuming this is the right place to put this, but I could also be wrong. If this is the wrong place to ask a question in this matter, I apologize, and request that it is moved to the correct section of the forums. Thanks in Advance for any help. - Master Kriiden
theblacksmith Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 By and large, it boils down to tinkering around with load orders, sifting through filepaths, and moving files until you understand it all. I'm going to assume you're already familiar with modding basics such as manual installation. Here's a few things I've learned through trial and error: -If you're planning on using TBBP, don't bother with CHSBHC. They talk about "needing" it for BBP, but all you need is the BBP skeleton, and TBBP provides that. -CBBE textures don't mix at all with the UNPB body (the TBBP default), and vice versa. After initial installation, use Caliente's Bodyslide to install some TBBP-enabled meshes, which you can find here: http://www.loverslab.com/attachment.php?aid=16376 -Install Caliente's CBBEv3 mod. Even if you don't use it, the Bodyslide tool is incredibly useful for customization. Unless you use UNPB. Get it here: http://www.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2666 In order: 1) Back up your stuff. Reinstalling all your mods after one bad fuckup is annoying and time-consuming. 2) Install TBBP. This will install the skeleton, bodymesh, and UNPB texture. 3) Install CBBEv3. Choose the "Custom" option when prompted to pick a body type. This will allow you to create a customized body in Bodyslide. Overwrite TBBP textures if prompted. Actually, overwrite everything that isn't a skeleton. 4) Open Bodyslide, and choose one of the TBBP meshes on the "Outfit/Body" menu. Create a sexy, dragon-shouting heroine with a great rack. Don't forget to hit the "Create" button! The skeleton and bodymesh are now finalized. 5) -OPTIONAL- Install a texture. I personally use this one: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13377 You should be all good to go now. Keep in mind that ALL the vanilla races, not just your PC, will have that sexy bod and slutty strut. Even the wrinkly old ladies. If you use a custom race (like Lunari or Temptress), drag, drop, and overwrite the mesh, skeleton, and texture in the custom race's appropriate folders. It's a whole other ball game if you use PCEA, but I"m not going into that. Good luck.
MasterKriiden Posted October 23, 2012 Author Posted October 23, 2012 This was exactly what I was looking for! Cleared up a ton of stuff. I'll remove all the other body crap, and install stuff on top that I want to add. Thanks a bunch mate!
