DragonDreams Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 I want to make a rideable degonian mod from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72202/ since it uses the werewolf animations, I decided to apply a custom werewolf skeleton from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30328/ However, I've run into a variety of problems, first, sometimes, it seems like the mod just doesn't update the skeletons of the degonians and seems to just revert back to the default skeleton And sometimes, I am able to get a degonian with the custom skeleton; however, it is completely invisible! I can ride it but it looks like I'm just sitting in midair Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Guest Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 You need a body mesh and a skeleton mesh that are compatible 100%. Try to keep the vanilla skeleton, or check what skeleton is used from the dragon. And use it.

It seems like it used the vanilla skeleton as its default; I unpacked the skeleton from the werewolf mount mod, and I applied to the degonian in creation kit; nothing happened besides the problems I've been having On a side note, after I create the mod, save it and close it, then open it back up again in creation kit, it seems to have created a new degonian race duplicate that uses the rideable skeleton; however, it still does not load properly if I try to use that from what I can tell
Guest Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Mh. Thats looks like a problem. You should be able to modify in CK the standard skeleton used for a race.
