Drag and drop it in the Avatar box on your profile. Do the same thing for the cover photo if you want one of those too. You must have more than 2 posts. It is an anti-spam bot feature. - note that you now have 4 posts there is also a size limit (don't remember the size though), type (e.g. jpg vs bmp)
