New to modding The Sims 4, need help!

I figured this would belong here. I just discovered modding for the Sims 4 a couple of days ago. I’ve spent the past couple of days going all over the place, installing mods. I’m at the point where I have almost 500 mods and I’m comfy with that. But now I’ve run into an issue: getting the game and the mods to run.

 

I’m using the Sims 4 mod manager and with that I have three concerns:

 

 1. I tried dumping all of my mods into the manager and in the log file I’m getting some errors pertaining to not being able to copy a few .rar’s over. Something to do with it being unique or special. How do I solve that?

 

2. If I drag and drop the same archive into the mod manager, does it duplicate that mod? I could use the method of dropping batches in to at least isolate which mods are causing me trouble but I don’t want to end up with a bunch of duplicates.

 

3. Does the mod manager handle Tray files? Or do I need to drop those in myself?

 

Previously I was able to get the game to a point where it wasn’t launching, double clicking on the launch icon caused nothing. Is there a utility that I can use to tell me what mods work with each other and what ones don’t? I’d rather not have to comb back through roughly 500 mods.

 

Hopefully I can get this sorted without having to go back and sort through all of my mods, thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully you’ll be able to help a modding Noob out.

Hi The rar file is a winzip like file that's why , download WinRAR en open the file I guess you never use the mods inside the WinRAR file.
